The tastefully timely, non-trivial trivia nights benefitting Fort Negley
Team-based history trivia meets craft beer flights and locally-sourced small bites. Learn, eat, drink, and give back—all in one unforgettable evening.
World Historic Fare Flights isn't your typical pub quiz. It's a carefully crafted experience where college-level history presentations meet artisanal cuisine, local craft beer, and genuine community impact.
Every event at New Heights Brewery benefits Fort Negley, Nashville's historic Civil War site, through a partnership with Nashville Parks Foundation.
"Funlanthropy"—fun + philanthropy. Learn something fascinating, enjoy incredible food and beer, and help preserve Nashville history. All at once.
Teams of 2-6 compete through an engaging 75-minute presentation with embedded trivia questions. No phones or computers allowed—just good old-fashioned knowledge, teamwork, and a dash of luck in the final "Cornucopia Whole" game.

Each event explores a different era of history with cuisine inspired by that time and place.
Honoring the park that all Fare Flights benefit, this inaugural event explores Nashville and American history around Fort Negley's construction—with a special nod to Sarah Estell, the free African-American woman who ran her own catering business in antebellum Nashville.
Celebrating the 250th anniversary of our nation's independence, we journey through the years leading up to the Declaration of Independence. Small bites inspired by colonial American cuisine.
Honoring the United States as overwhelmingly a nation of immigrants, we explore the various waves of immigration since the Constitution's ratification. Small bites inspired by the ethnic cuisines of each wave.
Honoring the local terroir, we journey through 13,000 years of human dining in Middle Tennessee: late Pleistocene, Archaic, Mississippian, Columbian Exchange, "Meat and Three," and Contemporary Fusion.
From arrival to prizes, here's what your evening looks like.
Find your team's table with your game card already waiting. Tell the staff your beer preferences, and they'll customize your flight of six. Your tray of themed small bites arrives shortly after.
Professor William Harwood leads a fascinating 75-minute presentation. Six multiple-choice questions are embedded throughout—mark your answers on your team's game card. No phones or computers allowed!
Turn in your game cards to the judges' table. The number of correct answers determines how many bean bags your team earns for the final game (plus one "participation" bag just for showing up).
Each team tosses their bean bags at a cornhole board with a cornucopia in the hole. Score points: 5 for the cornucopia, 3 for staying on the board, 2 for touching, 1 for floor. Highest total wins the Grand Prize!
Everyone leaves with a GAAPPPP Prize Packet—swag, coupons, leftover bites, and beer samples. The winning team gets the Grand Packet with the best goodies. Hungry? The food trucks outside are ready for dinner!
Teams of 2-6 players. Limited to 50 participants per event.
